Popullsia vendase i p\u00ebrsh\u00ebndeti p\u00ebrzem\u0113rsisht, nd\u00ebrsa ushtris\u0113 austriake ju bashkangjit\u0113n 5000 luft\u00ebtar\u00eb shqiptar\u00eb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nga Prishtina general Picolomini njoftonte <strong>Vien\u00ebn p\u00ebr arritjen n\u00eb Prishtin\u00eb. Nd\u00ebrsa Ka\u00e7anikun<\/strong> dhe \u00a0gryk\u00ebn e rrug\u00ebs p\u00ebr Shkup e mbante n\u00ebn kontroll ushtria turke. <strong>N\u00eb vler\u00ebsim t\u00eb k\u00ebsaj situate ushtaraku i lart\u00eb austriak m\u00eb 22 tetor 1689 d\u00ebrgoi kolonelin Strasser me 150 ushtar\u00eb dhe 240 kalor\u00ebs,<\/strong> te cil\u00ebt pas disa dit\u00eb luftimesh mor\u00ebn n\u00ebn kontroll gryk\u00ebn e Ka\u00e7anikut si dhe siguruan rrug\u00ebn p\u00ebr n\u00eb Shkup. Nga Prishtina me kolonellin Strasser te nesermen me 24 tetor u vendosen n\u00eb Ka\u00e7anik. <strong>Me 25 tetor Picolomini nga Ka\u00e7aniku u vendos n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e Shkupit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gjat\u00eb marshimit u dol\u00ebn para shqiptar\u00ebt e fshatrave p\u0113r rredh dhe i priten p\u0113rzemersisht duke ju bashkangjitur ushtris\u0113 austriake. <strong>Shqiptar\u00ebt informuan Picolominin s\u00eb n\u00eb qytet kan\u00eb arriturr shum\u00eb forca turke p\u00ebr ta mbrojtur qytetin,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Banor\u00ebt e qytetit kan\u00eb filluar ta braktisin qytetin p\u00ebr shkak <strong>t\u00eb paraqitjes s\u00eb mortajes. Mahmut Pasha ka arrit\u00eb ti largoj\u00eb 8000 banor\u00eb dhe 6000 ushtar\u00eb t\u0113 cil\u0113t i kishte vendosur n\u00eb fush\u00ebn e djatht\u00eb t\u00eb qytetit, q\u00eb ti b\u00ebjn\u00eb rezist\u00ebnc\u00eb ushtris\u00eb austriake, dhe q\u0113 ushtrija e tij\u0113 t\u00eb jen\u00eb sa ma larg mortajes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">N\u00eb mesnat\u00ebn <strong>e t\u00eb 25 dhe 26 tetor Picolomini dergoi 400 dragon (nj\u00ebsi ushtarake austriake) dhe 200 k\u00ebmb\u00ebsor\u00eb kunder ushtris\u0113 turke<\/strong>. N\u0113 m\u00ebngjes u nis\u0113n s\u00ebbashku me ta dhe urdh\u0113roi bombardimin e perigeris\u0113 s\u0113 qytetit me topa. Kur ushtria turke d\u00ebgjoi bombardimin nga topat austriak\u00eb i rroku paniku dhe filluan t\u1ebd largohen m\u0113 vrap t\u0113 madh, duke l\u0113ne armet, pajisjet e tyre, <strong>100 ushtar\u0113 t\u0113 vrar\u0113, 200 rob\u0113r turq e disa hebrej.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Mahmut Pasha u fsheh n\u00eb pyllin t\u00eb af\u00ebrm dhe nga aty iku n\u0113 dalje t\u0113 qytetit rrug\u0113s p\u0113r Manastir. <strong>Picolomini dergoi kolonelin Qakin t\u00eb v\u00ebzhgoj\u00eb qytetin. Pas v\u00ebzhgimit koloneli raportoi te Picolomini se qyteti ishte i zbraz\u0113t, t\u1ebd gjitha dyqanet ishin t\u0113 hapura, pastaj Picolomini shkoi n\u0113 drejtim t\u0113 qytetit dhe pasi mb\u00ebrriti aty, urdh\u0113roi q\u0113 t\u0113 vdekurit t\u0113 varrosen menjih\u00ebr\u00eb, u vendos n\u0113 kodr\u0113n e qytetit dhe p\u0113r shkak t\u0113 mortajes dha urdh\u0113r q\u1ebd qyteti t\u0113 bombardohet dh\u0113 t\u0113 digjet t\u00ebrsisht.
